REQUIEM FOR A STRANGER

Requiem for a Stranger is a work in development by New Orleans-based physical theater company Vagabond Inventions in collaboration with Singer/ Composer Renee Benson. This new, devised creation explores the nature of grief – both personal and cultural – by giving form to how this experience, repressed culturally, exists in the heartspace of humans.

Presented at the New Orleans Contemporary Art Center’s Southern Crossings Residency in 2019 and in 2020 as a livestream performance. In development 2021-22.
